I met Susan in December 1995 when she was a receptionist at West USA Realty. I was a real estate agent and convinced Susan to get her real estate license. She and I became close friends for the next 28 years. She was like a sister to me. We worked together, we shopped together and we were fortunate enough to travel together. We traveled to Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Croatia and our favorite one, Italy. We always knew that we could count on each other when needed. Our private joke was if things became too stressful with work, we would grab a bottle of wine and a straw. Didn't need to wait for a glass. Susan became one of the best, the smartest and most professional Realtors in our community. She worked hard, was always trustworthy and highly respected. I loved her and I'll miss her. RIP

Susan was the sister I never had. We shared the graduations and marriages of our children and the addition of each grandchild. We worked and played together for years. We had a special friendship. I will miss her every day. Hugs dear friend!

Susan was one of those people who was so much more than can be described in a few words. Even when the words are those like grace, thoughtfulness, style, and devotion to all those in her life, they paint only a small part of the picture. We talked often about her real estate career and the fact that she had a multitude of repeat clients. What else could be the ultimate tribute to her professionalism and her "go the extra mile" attitude that she invested in each project? Our friendship came about – oddly enough – almost 11 years ago through the online game Words With Friends. After we had played together for a while, Susan reached out to say hello, and, as the old saying goes, the rest is history. For the last 10 years, she's been a very cherished, treasured part of my life. Although we've had to grow most of our bond through emails, texts, phone calls, and lots and lots of pictures, two years ago, my husband and I took part of a trip specifically to Phoenix to spend some precious time with Susan and Bill. And because we communicated at least twice a day, we were able to share so much of each other's lives that I was honored she chose me to be her "Sis," with her precious family members becoming my "extended family." The space in my life that was filled by Susan is now a huge hole, and I miss her so very much. But that feeling also allows me to know a little of the tremendous grief, loss, and devastation her family and those close to her are experiencing. My heart is full to overflowing in sharing this grief with all of you, yet I gather comfort knowing where she is now after our conversations on salvation, faith, prayer, and trust in God's promises. While "sympathies" is a very inadequate word, I believe you know I extend these as I offer the prayer that He might bring you all comfort, peace, and strength.

She was so hard worker during her job as a realtor to giving her family advice and love.
