Susan E. Giffin, 69, of Bloomingdale, Ohio died Sunday, March 15, 2015 at her home. She was born April 24, 1945 in Sewickley, PA a daughter of the late Odra Orville and Lillian Effie Dye Francis. Susan was a member of the Unionport Christian Church. She worked at O. O. Francis Florist and was a pianist at Bloomingdale United Methodist Church for many years. Surviving are her husband of 40 years, whom she married November 22, 1974, Don Giffin; daughter Renee (Kevin) Dorsey of Shadyside, OH; son Jamie (Lori) Giffin of Marysville, OH and three grandchildren Andrew Dorsey of Shadyside, OH, Caleb Walters of East Liberty, OH and Lantz Close of Marysville, OH. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Tuesday 3 – 7 p.m. where a service will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. with Pastor Jeremiah Kuttler officiating. Burial at Unionport Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to Unionport Volunteer Fire Department.
