Obituary For Steven Gregory Mannie

Steven Gregory Mannie, 61, formerly of Steubenville, Ohio, was called to the Lord on November 9, 2016. Born on February 12, 1955, in Los Angeles, California, Stevie (Buzz) spent his early childhood, adolescent and early adult years in Steubenville. In the late 70’s he relocated to the Los Angeles area, where he was employed by Cedars-Sinai Hospital.

Stevie attended St. Peter’s Grade School, where he also played football, basketball and baseball. He was a 1973 graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School.

Stevie will always be known and loved by his family and friends for his quick-wit, pleasant demeanor, and good-hearted natured. He was a loving and caring father, son, grandson, brother and friend.

Stevie is preceded in death by grandmother and grandfather Rosa and Gabrielle Giannini, and father Mel Mannie. He is survived by mother Antoinette, daughter Antoinette Misty, son Steven, and brother Ken (Marianne).

Funeral arrangements were held by Rose Cemetery, Simi Valley, CA, on December 18th.

He was a one-of-a-kind free spirit and very special to me all those years ago. Always had that smile that could light up a room and make you laugh. He was one of the kindest, sweetest , happiest person that we were blessed to know! Stevie had a way of making you smile and laugh no matter how you felt.
