Stanley P. Rawson, 73, of Wintersville passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Mary Jane Brooks Care Center North. He was born in Follansbee, WV on October 10, 1943 a son of the late Donald and Lola Williams Rawson. Stanley was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing cards. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Donald and George Rawson and sister Esther Burnworth
He is survived by his wife Sandy Bainbridge Rawson; son Jeff (Amy) Rawson of Delaware, OH; granddaughter Kamryn Rawson and sister Dorothy (Al) Brown of California;
Private services were held at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery
