Stanley J. Skrabski 82 of Steubenville, Ohio died Monday, June 17, 2002 at Trinity West, Steubenville. He was born in Washington, PA on March 28, 1920 a son of the late Leo and Anna Wesneski Skrabski. Stan was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Steubenville; Pilgrim Lodge 691 F& AM; Scottish Rite Valley of Steubenville; Steubenville Shrine Club and Aladdin Temple in Columbus, OH; and American Legion Argonne Post 33. He was a graduate of Trinity High School in Washington, PA and served in the US Army during WWII. Stan was a watchmaker working in various jewelry stores in the area. He was preceded in death by two infant children; two brothers Charles & Theodore Skrabski; one sister Frances Skrabski. Surviving are his wife Clara S. Babiarz Skrabski; son Thomas L. (Marcie) Skrabski of Brandon, FL; daughter Kathleen E. (Kenneth) Mihalik of Ponchatoula, LA; grandson Kurt Mihalik and sister Joan Paranos of Washington, PA. At the request of the family, funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephens Episcopal Church, Shriners Burn Hospital or a charity of the donors choice.
