Please accept my family's deepest sympathy on the passing of Sophie. Sophie was our real estate agent when my husband and I bought our first house. She set the bar high for any future dealings with other agents. She was such a dear person (even bringing a gift when our first child was born). Anytime we would see each other out and about she would always stop and talk. She loved you all and was so proud of her family. Our prayers are with you with a smile as we remember Sophie.

Aunt Janet and Uncle Ron, When I think about Sophie, I remember her warm smile, gentle touch, and delicious food (especially Pizzelles). I also remember the support and love she offered when other loved ones passed away Poppy, Grandma J, Mom, and Nana Pat, no doubtI `m sure your father and many others are welcoming her now. Perhaps with some time you will be able to find some comfort in the realization that she is now free from pain. Aunt Janet, I hope you can also see what everyone around you seesthe constant, selfless support youve given your mother the ultimate gift. Youve also been there for me (and Mark) through the loss of my mom and our return to Pittsburgh. I hope I can be there for you now. If in coming months, you have trouble finding your smile, just let Jesus take the wheel. Love you! Chelsea

Janet, what can I say when you lose someone so special to you? You had such a wonderful relationship with your Mom. Its difficult now; but I hope that you and your family can reflect on all the wonderful memories you each have of your Mom as you celebrate her life in the days and weeks ahead. Janet, I hope it gives you some comfort to know that your Mother could not have asked for a more caring, supportive, and loving daughter as you! Though I wont be there to celebrate your Moms life, my thoughts and prayers will be with you. Love you, Fin

To the Maltese family, I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful Mother. I remember her when we were at Harding Jr. High. I always loved your Mother and Father. Such wonderful people. When I would come home for a visit, I would stop at my ex-Mother-in-law's home and would see your Mother sometimes and say hi and how are you doing. She always remembered me. She is in peace now and without pain. She will be your family's guardian Angel. God Bless all of you and in the days to come find peace with her departure.

The passing of Sophia was a deep loss to many of us. I so enjoyed her company as we were members of Cypress Twig together. We always enjoyed lunches at the Country Club and playing cards afterwards. She always had a smile on her face and was a pleasure to be around. Never did I ever hear her speak negatively of anyone. She certainly will be missed. My love and prayers to her entire family.
