Silvio “Cedro” Busana, Jr., 87, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on May 17, 2022. He was born December 14, 1934 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Silvio & Nora Thompson Busana, Sr. Silvio was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He worked at the Toronto Paper mill and as a Boiler tender at Trinity East Hospital. Silvio was a handyman and especially loved woodworking with many considering him to be a Jack-of-all-Trades.
Silvio was preceded in death by one brother John Busana; sister Virginia Grimm & brother-in-law Curt and niece Kim Busana.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Emma Scott Busana; children Robin (Frank) Kousaie, Michael Busana, Bonnie (Everett) Skinner & Connie (J. D.) Parise; one brother Robert (Gloria) Busana; ten grandchildren Jessica (Josh) Wilson; Angela (Davy) Haught; Ashley (Scott) Bonaventura; Benjamin, Nicholas & Jacob Busana; Danielle (Jon) Moore; Vincent, Noralyn & Cedro Parise; twelve great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Friday May 20, 2022 from 10 a.m. until the time of services at noon with Dr. Rev. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to the charity of your choice in Silvio’s honor.
