Sidney Robinson, 88, of Wintersville, Ohio died Monday, December 5, 2005 at his residence. He was born in Steubenville on June 27, 1917 a son of the late George and Agnes Jacques Robinson. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co. production department and was owner of The Home Music Shop for over 35 years. A WWII Army veteran, he held membership in the V.F.W. Preceding Sidney in death was a brother William. Sidney is survived by his wife Evelyn King Robinson; two sons Ken (Julie) Robinson of Rockland, CA and Gary (Donna) Robinson of Toronto, OH; daughter Darlene (John) Keough of Deerfield, OH; three grandchildren Kent Robinson of Baltimore, MD, Brandon Gilbert of Canton, OH and Gordon Gilbert of Deerfield, OH; two great grandchildren and sister Irene Robinson White of Steubenville, OH. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with Major Earline May officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.
