Shirley M. Bucy, 76, of Wintersville died Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at Trinity West. She was born in Toronto, Ohio on July 5, 1931 a daughter of the late Howard and Elsie Harris Cooper. Shirley had worked for Ohio Bell and volunteered at Ohio Valley Hospital and Trinity West. She was a member of Starkdale United Presbyterian Church and the Wintersville Womens Club. She was preceded in death by her sister Grayce Robinson. Shirley is survived by her husband Harry L. Bucy; daughter Lynn (Keith) Taliani; son Craig (Renee) Bucy and daughter Jody Bucy all of Wintersville; sister Betty (Dave) Briganti of Orlando, FL; brother Howard (Judy) Cooper, Jr. of Wintersville; 2 grandsons Jason Taliani and Todd Taliani (fiancee Brandi Strawser) all of Columbus, OH and great granddaughter Careena Marie Taliani. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Dr. Phillip Makari officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
