Shirley Mae Rupert, 87, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Valley Hospice. She was born January 2, 1933 in Steubenville a daughter of the late William T. & Nellie V. Currance Nelson. Preceding Shirley in death were her husband William C. Rupert; four brothers William, Joseph, John & infant Donald Nelson; and sister Donna Nelson.
Shirley is survived by her three sons Edward C. (Shirley Elaine) Rupert of Atlanta, GA, Charles Rupert and William Howard (Cheryl Lynn) Rupert both of Wintersville; five grandchildren Mike (Bethany) Rupert, Michelle (David) McGinnis, Kenny (Amanda) Rupert, Char (C.J.) Montgomery & Morgan Rupert; and eight great grandchildren, Riley, Aubrey, Reese, Finley, Isabelle, Lilliana, Kennedy & Liam.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Saturday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. services with Rev. Bill Westling officiating. Private burial Monday at Fort Steuben.
