Shirley M. Pemberton, 77, of Steubenville passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Valley Hospice North. She was born in Waynesburg, PA on July 9, 1941 the daughter of the late Earl and Inez Satterfield Morris. Shirley was a homemaker and Christian by faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Brenda Payne; grandson William Ferguson III; companion Charles Pemberton and 3 brothers. Shirley is survived by her daughter Betty J. Ferguson of Steubenville; son Charles R. “Chuck” Pemberton of Bloomingdale; grandsons Jacob and Joshua Pemberton; granddaughter Jessica Payne and 2 great grandchildren and special friend Don Flinn. Services will be private.
