Shirley L. Linn Turner, 79, of Wintersville, Ohio died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Acuity Hospital, Steubenville.  She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 14, 1934 the daughter of the late Denzel P. Linn and Olive Degenkolb Linn of Wintersville.  She was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Turner, Jr., son John C. Chambers and her father.Shirley was a member St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and the Women of the Moose Lodge 586 of Steubenville where she served a senior regent and was employed there for over 18 years.She is survived by three sons, Curtis A. (Faye) Chambers of Catoosa, OK, Roger J. (Nancy) Chambers of Wintersville, Charles P. Chambers of Anchorage, Alaska; a daughter, Cynthia L (David) Hollingsworth of New Orleans, LA; two step-sons, Keith (Debbie) Turner of Toronto & Charles Richard (Mary) Turner of Columbus; mother, Olive Linn and a brother, Denzel W. (Juanita) Linn both of Wintersville; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Sunday from 5-8 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bill Westling officiating.  Burial at Fort Steuben.
