My Mother, Shelda Belle Cameron, went to live with the Lord on the afternoon of March 31st, 2012 following a prolonged illness. While the illness impacted her mobility, it did not affect her gentle spirit or capacity for love. She was surrounded by her caregivers as well as her son Alan and his family, as she began her journey to heaven. She was preceded in death by her hero & husband, Homer Reed Cameron, a dedicated 42 year employee of the Weirton Steel Company, Weirton, W Va. and a Korean War Veteran. My mother was a kind and generous lady with a heart full of tenderness. She loved life and always placed others needs before her own. She will be sadly missed by those who genuinely cared for her and loved her. The family would like to extend *special thanks to Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville, Ohio, and to Margie Cameron, her daughter-in-law, and both grandsons, Brandon Joseph Cameron and Jason Reed Cameron, as well as her life-long friend, Ruth Ann Kensiki, each providing love, extra care and tenderness to my mother in her final days. She is interred at the M Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville, Ohio.
