Sheila M. Myers Jones, 86, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born on June 14, 1938 in Reeder, WV a daughter of the late Fred & Eska Trader Myers. Preceding Sheila in death were her two husbands William Armstrong (1957) & Robert J. Jones (1996); two siblings Robert Myers & Darlene “Susie” Ferguson and granddaughter Faith Jones.
Sheila graduated from Jefferson Union High School and worked the switchboard at the former Fort Steuben Hotel. She was the family baker and hostess of Sunday dinners.
A beloved Mom, Gram and Great Gram, Sheila is survived by her two sons William F. “Bill” Jones & James E. “Rick” (Debbie) Jones; five grandchildren Tiffany (Jeremy Ternansky), Justine (Paul Pelegreen), Josh, Jesse & Jordon (Lexi); seven great grandchildren Denna, Lincoln, Ivy Wren, Emma, James, Eleanor & Ingrid; nieces Darlene (Scott) Pasco & Beth Myers; nephew Rob Myers; and a host of other family members.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Thursday 3-6 p.m.
Burial at Fort Steuben.
