Sharon L. Tressler, 60, of Steubenville, Ohio died Saturday, June 23, 2007 at her residence. She was born December 17, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN a daughter of the late Robert And Mary Jane Stewart Porter. She was catholic by faith, a member of the Steubenville Moose and a volunteer at the Salvation Army. Sharon was the owner of Valley Appraisals where she worked as a real estate appraiser for many years. Sharon was preceded in death by her first husband George Arthur Westling. Surviving are her husband George E. Tressler; three sons William (Cindy) Westling, Sr. of Wadsworth, OH, Steve Westling of Columbus, OH and Bryan (Debbie) Westling of Steubenville, OH; daughter Theresa L. Westling of Mingo Junction, OH; 17 grandchildren William, Jr., Michael, Jacob, Josh, Breanna and Cody Westling, Lisa, Mark, Adam and Jeremy Miller, Jacob and Bralynn Kulin, John, Emily and Haley Downard, Dee and Eric Tressler; six great grandchildren; two sisters Roberta (James) Boardman of Reno, NV and Patricia (Bob) Rivas of Alto Loma, CA and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville Monday and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. with Rev. Jason Elliott officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Valley Hospice.

I can't put into words my feelings for you children of Art's and Sharons. You have always been one of the nicest families in our family tree. I want to come to the Funeral and the Funeral Home, but I have cancer and just can't go like I did when I lived in New Alexandria. My prayers are with all of you as are the prayers of many others.
