Sara Nethers, 95, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Gables Care Center. She was born February 5, 1922 in Wick, WV a daughter of the late Delbert and Amanda (Hissam) Weekley. Sara was a member of Unionport Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #360. Preceding Sara in death were her husband Joseph Richard Nethers; daughter Madelyn Lotzgeselle and son-in-law Clay Bachmeier. Surviving are her daughter Marian Bachmeier of Arcadia, CA; son Carl David Mossor of Centralia, WA; step daughter Carol (Edward) Nabozny of Austinburg, OH; granddaughter Cheryl (Tim) Speaks of Jacksonville, FL and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Friday 5 – 7 p.m. where a service will be held Saturday 10 a.m. with Rev. Bill Westling officiating.
