Sandy Thomas went to join our Heavenly Father on April 20, 2008 after a courageous battle with illness.  She was born on November 24, 1947 in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania.  Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Virginia Piccinni.  She will be sadly missed by her children Kelley Phillips and Eric Thomas along with their father and her lifelong friend, Stephen Thomas.  Her unconditional love and heartfelt devotion to her grandchildren Chelsea Phillips and Zachary Thomas will forever remain irreplaceable.  As she leaves behind family and friends here on Earth, she will be joyfully reunited with the loved ones and friends who have journeyed before her.  Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008, 1p.m., at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, OH. with Fr. Richard Tuttle officiating. In lieu of flowers her family respectfully requests any memorials be made on her behalf to the American Lung Association, 61 Broadway, New York, NY 10006.
