From the grant program she went on to be the Director of Health Services for Coventry health care. In 2009, she retired as the Assistant Director of Nursing for Dixon Health care. Whether she was providing direct clinical patient care or teaching and managing others who were doing so, she spent over 41 years in the service of providing health care to her neighbors here in the Ohio Valley. Sandy loved to travel, entertain, and was a devoted member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Wintersville. I was very saddened by the passing of Sandy. She was a wonderful and loving person. A fantastic nurse that I am proud to say I worked with at St. John's Hospital many years ago. We had many happy times, working together in the recovery Room. I will miss her, but she has no more pain. She will fly among the angels and be with her beloved Stan. My prayers and thought are with her family. Rest now Sandy.

Sandy was one of my classmates at Ohio Valley Hospital nursing school. She was energetic, smart and full of fun. She did have a true loving spirit about her. Lucky for me I did get to see her once again in the past 3 years. Peace Sandy and you are back with your Stan
