Samuel A. Corabi, Jr. passed away on July 7, 2022 at his residence. He was born July 22, 1953 to the late Samuel A. and Kathryn D. Santo Corabi, Sr. After graduating from Catholic Central High School in 1971, Sam earned a BS in Accounting from the College of Steubenville in 1975. He then earned a Masters of Educational Administration from the University of Dayton.
Sam leaves behind his beautiful and loving daughter Alicia (R.J.) Harrington; the love of his life Carol Peterson; brothers Hon. Joe (late Kathy “Mac”) Corabi, Robert Corabi and David Corabi; sisters Mary (Phil) Flenniken and Kathy (Dave) Mathews.
Sam loved traveling to Cedar Point for vacation with his nephews and nieces, Craig, Ryan, Colin, Jake, Krista, Jacqueline and Malaina.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Monday 3-6 p.m. Vigil at 5:30 p.m.
Funeral liturgy with mass 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Church with Rev. Joshua Erickson officiating. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to CCHS, 320 West View, Steubenville, OH 43952

I had the honor of working with Sam at the Schools. it was obvious from the very beginning that he had a passion for the kids.I also got to know Sam on a personal level and am very grateful for that. For some strange reason he liked black licorice with his coffee and was proud of it, I will miss you , love ya
