S. Mary Bardin of Naples, Florida and Steubenville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Villa Vista. She was born in Steubenville a daughter of the late Lazo & Stanica Rodich. She was a retired buyer for Gimbels, Sacks, Rosenbaums & Famous-Barr. An avid golfer until the age of 88 and club champion, Mary held membership at Williams Country Club and served as president of the woman’s association at Quail Run Golf Club in Naples. Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 32 years, Joseph Bardin, in 1994; brother Mele James Rodich in 1997 and stepbrother Eli Stanic in 1987.Mary is survived by her devoted sister Dorothy R. Topic of Steubenville.Services were private. Burial in Beth El section of Union Cemetery.Memorials may be directed to Alzheimers Association.
