Ruth H. Waterman, 92, passed away on July 9, 2014 at Wexner Heritage House. She was born in Steubenville on September 14, 1921 and resided here until 1978, when she moved to Sunny Isles Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Waterman in 1968; parents Jacob & Fannie Stern; two infant sons and brother Martin Stern. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Shirley, and son Gerry (Stephanie) Waterman; two grandsons David (Leigh) & Stephen; and great granddaughter Nava. Services were held on Friday at Union Cemetery (Beth El section) with Rabbi Harold Berman officiating. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Gerry & Stephanie Waterman, Sunday through Tuesday from 7-9 p.m.Memorials may be directed to Congregation Tifereth Israel or Wexner Heritage House Associate Fund.
