Ruth M. Soltis 82 of Wintersville, Ohio died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at Gables Care Center, Hopedale, Ohio. She was born in Steubenville on August 28, 1922 daughter of the late Leroy B. and Marie J. Mildner Fisher. Ruth was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and a member of Wells High School Class of 1940. Preceding Ruth in death were her husband Paul R. Soltis and one sister Thelma Copeland. Surviving are her daughter Joan (Dick) Davis of Steubenville; two grandchildren Jennifer Davis and Rich (Valerie) Davis; five great grandchildren; sister Virginia Menear of Westlake, Ohio; four nieces; two nephews and various great nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tom Bullard and Msgr. Gerald Calovini officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
