Ruth M. Maple 81 of Steubenville died Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at Trinity East Skilled Care, Steubenville. She was born in Akron, Ohio on February 16, 1923 a daughter of the late Earl and Mary Thrasher Hainsworth. Ruth was a member of the former United Brethren Church in Steubenville and the Woman’s Missionary Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert G. Maple on May , 20, 2004, a son Robert L. Maple, brother Chuck Hainsworth, sister June E. VanKirk. Survived by sons Earl (Elaine) Maple of Richmond, Ohio and Raymond (Jeannie) Maple of Wisconsin, daughter Carol (John) Kennedy of Richmond, Ohio, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Friday from 6-9p.m., where services will be held on Saturday at 1:30p.m. with Sharon Musgrave officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
