Ruth J. Bodo, 93, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Trinity West. She was born in Steubenville on November 23, 1927 a daughter of the Edward and Lucy Freeman Greer. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church. Preceding Ruth in death were her husband L. Robert Bodo; son Jeffrey Bodo and siblings Olen Greer, Pete Greer and Mary Babinchak.
Ruth is survived by her children Bob (Pam) Bodo, Tom (Susan) Bodo and Nancy (Ben) Porco; eight grandchildren Robbie (Rachael) Bodo, Jocelyne (Adrian) Gray, Adrienne (Chad) Delligatti, Jennifer (Evan) Lee, Joseph (Jennie) Porco, Timothy (Jennifer) Porco, Melissa Moody and Cody (Barbara) Smith; nineteen great grandchildren; and sister Betty Georgiafandis.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Wednesday 4-7 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass Thursday 10 a.m. at St. Peters Church with Rev. Tim Huffman officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Vigil 4 p.m. Wednesday
All visitors are required to wear masks.
