Ruth I. Whitmer, 89 of Bloomingale, Ohio died Saturday, August 24, 2002 at Gables Care Center, Hopedale, Ohio. She was born in Unionport, Ohio on June 3, 1913 a daughter of the late Charles P. and Evalina Conway Brobston. She was a member of Wintersville Baptist Temple. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Roy D. Whitmer; one daughter Shirley Gambill; two brothers Philip and Willis Brobston; and one sister Hilda Myers. Surviving are her daughter Marjean (Gus) Huber of Bloomingdale; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwwod Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Tuesday from Noon until the time of services at 1 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
