Ruth A. Taylor, 95, of Columbus formerly of Steubenville, OH died Monday July 18, 2011 at Worthington Christian Village, Columbus, Ohio. She was born October 29, 1915 in Glen Falls, NY a daughter of the late Thomas and Mathilda Christiansen Taylor. Ruth was a member of LaBelle View Church of Christ. She retired after 52 years from Prudential Insurance in Steubenville where she worked as an office manager. Preceding Ruth in death were two brothers Richard and Howard Taylor. Surviving are two nephews James (Ronnee) Taylor of Deerfield, IL and Barry (Lynne) Taylor of Huntington, WV; niece Cathy (Rod) O’Donnell of Ravenna, OH; sister-in-law Kathy Taylor of Ashland, KY; one great nephew Thad Taylor and two great nieces Skye and Bethany Taylor. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at noon with Minister Loran Dace officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
