Rudy Trbovich 78 of Steubenville, OH died Saturday, July 19, 2003 at the Crestview Health Care Center, St. Clairsville, OH. He was born in Steubenville, OH on September 19, 1924 the son of the late Peter and Anna Smogonovich Trbovich. Preceded in death by his wife Ella Sims Trbovich in 1983 and a brother, Mike “Pie” Trbovich and nephew, Mark “Pep” Trbovich, on Jan. 9, 2003. Rudy retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel co. as a stationary engineer in the utilities dept. Member of Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Steubenville. He is survived by a brother, Mele “Chill” Trbovich and his wife Katherine, and a sister, Melva Markel and her husband, Peter both of Steubenville, and several nephews and nieces. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville, OH on Monday from 5-9 p.m., where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. Father Rade Merick to officiate.
