Rose M. McGrew, 74, of Unionport, Ohio died Friday, November 2, 2007 at Trinity West. She was born September 10, 1933 in Toronto, Ohio a daughter of the late James M. Marshall & Mary Prise Marshall Slates. She was a member of Unionport Christian Church; Jefferson County Childrens Services Foster Care Assn.; Hopedale Legion and Cadiz F.O.E. for twenty-five years. Preceding Rose in death were her husband William C. McGrew, Sr.; two brothers James A. Marshall, Sr. & Daniel N. Marshall. Surviving are two sons William C. (Jeannie) McGrew, Jr., and Charles W. McGrew both of Unionport; four daughters Teresa (Thomas) James of Texas, Debra (Francis) Anderson of Mingo Jct., Janet (David) Foley of Unionport, and Edith (Douglas) Dean of Attica, OH; eight grandchildren Jason & Justin James, Christopher McGrew, Meagan Gibbons, Jaremee Costlow, Deann Arnold, Jennifer Foley & Amanda Zack; 11 great grandchildren; and two sisters Mary Louise White & Deon McGrew. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday with Rev. Hubert Granger officiating. Burial at Unionport Cemetery.
