Rose Kathryn Grigsby, 94, of Huntsville, AL, formerly of Wintersville died Sunday, April 27, 2008 at her residence in Huntsville. She was born on January 24, 1914 a daughter of the late John and Meri Maslo Krena. Proceded in death by her husband Leslie W. Grigsby; son Charles Walter Grigsby; brothers Steve and Thomas Krena; sisters Josephine Ingram and Marie Haverfield. Rose is survived by her sisters Kathryn Doboski of Weirton, Ann Woudarsky of Indiana and Frances Ahern of Arkansas; step-son Sherwood Grigsby of Florida; grandson Charles Leslie Grigsby of Huntsville, AL; great grandchildren Charles James Grigsby and Caitlin Warner Grigsby. Friends may call on Friday from 1:30p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m. at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, OH with Rev. Fr. Dean Borgmeyer officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your favorite charity in her name.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Krena
I am the son of Rose's brother Thomas and just discovered that see passed away last April. This is a late note, but we remember Aunt Rose as a funny and exuberant aunt that went through some tough times, and just wanted to pass along our condolences.
