Rosa C. “Rose” Zink 70 of Wintersville, Ohio died Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at her residence. She was born in Reeds Mill, Ohio on December 18, 1932 a daughter of the late James V. and Virginia M. Nuest Morelli. Rose was an active member of Two Ridges Presbyterian Church for nearly fifty years having served as an elder, past president and past vice- president of the Woman’s Association and chairman of the annual church bazaar many times and a member of the Mary Abigail Circle. She enjoyed playing cards and was an active member of a women’s card club and a doubles card club. She was also a member of the Board of Elections and Wintersville Garden Club. Rose was very active in her church and her community, helping many people over the years. She was preceded in death by one sister Mary Anna Morelli in 1973; two toddler brothers Joseph and Frank Morelli; one niece Brenda and nephew James E. Burgess. Rose is suvived by her husband of 48 years Paul W. “John” Zink; two sons Paul Douglas (Marsha) Zink of Steubenville and Dwain A. (Melissa) Zink of Wintersville; five grandchildren Mindy, Aeryk, Rachel and Alex Zink and Ryan Wukelic; two brothers James P. (Helen) Morelli of Richmond, Ohio and Roland A. (Irene) Morelli of Mingo Junction, Ohio; five sisters Orega Yanik of Steubenville, Victoria (John) Kosar of Bloomingdale, Ellen (James) Burgess, Jr. of Michigan City, IN, June (David) Laughery of Mingo Junction and Madeline (Terry) Baker of Hillsboro, IL and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Thursday 7-9 and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Bob Meyer officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates. Memorial contributions may be made to Two Ridges Church.
