Obituary For Ronald Pasek

Ronald F. Pasek, Sr.,  “Radar” 69 of Steubenville, Ohio passed away at his home on Friday, February 26, 2010, after battling a lengthy illness. He was born August 17, 1940. He retired in 1997 from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. as a refrigeration technician. Ronald was Catholic by faith and a member of K of C Council 4367 since 1975, American Legion, V.F.W. Post 80 and served as president of Mingo Little League from 1975-1980. Ronald served in the Marines from 1958-1962 during the Korean War. Preceding Ronald in death were his father Frank Pasek, daughter Samantha Pasek and brother Edward Pasek.Surviving are his mother Anna Plevel of PA; daughters Tina Hardwick of Smithfield and Deborah Michetti of Follansbee; son Ronald F. Pasek, Jr. of Steubenville; brother Jerry Pasek of CA; half sister Marianne Stillharty of PA; grandchildren Tiffany Diehl, Tracy Foster, Jennifer Hardwick, Joshua Pasek, Samantha Michetti & Vanessa Michetti; great grandson Kameron Haines; nieces and nephews Jerry Pasek, Jr., Michael Pasek, Jennifer Scarpetta, Edward Pasek, Jr., John Pasek, Chris Pasek, Geoffrey Pasek, Connie Reynolds, Theresa Erustamonte, Robert Stillharty and Steven Stillharty.Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home (the former McClave Funeral Home), 611 North Fourth Street, Steubenville on Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with Rev. James Dunfee officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society.
