Obituary For Ronald C. Grimm

Ronald C. Grimm, 64, of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Trinity Medical Center West. Ron was born on July 6, 1959, in Steubenville, Ohio, the son of the late Robert E. and Margery E. Dudley Grimm.

Ron grew up in Costonia, Toronto, Ohio. He graduated from the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School in 1977 and worked for several companies before becoming employed in 1990 by Monro Muffler Brake in Steubenville, Ohio, where he worked for over 25 years. He worked his way up from technician to manager and became affectionately known by many in the Ohio Valley as “Ron at Monro.”

Ron enjoyed fishing and, on his days off, could often be found at Leesville, Tappan, or Piedmont Lake fishing with friends. He also enjoyed cooking out for his family. Recently, Ron looked forward to daily phone conversations with his brother-in-law and good friend, Clifford Musgrave, and coffee visits with his long-time friend, Steve Popkie.

Ron served as a deacon at Word of Life Fellowship for many years.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by three unborn children and an infant son, Stephen Robert Grimm.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rose Mary Musgrave Grimm, whom he married on May 15, 1982; daughter, Emily Grimm, of Steubenville; brothers Michael (Cathy) Grimm and Robert Grimm; sister, Lynda (Robert) Addis; aunt, Eleanor Durnin; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Dunlope Shorac Funeral Home. Per Ron's wishes there will be no services at this time.

Ron was such a man of faith, family and friendship. We were blessed to call him friend. The world needs more guys like Ron who were always full of encouragement and willing to help others. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family as you grieve. Thankfully we dont grieve like those who dont have hope. Our hope is in Jesus and Ron is in His presence now.

His last message to me was GREAT IS OUR GOD AND GREATLY TO BE PRAISED, AND PRAY FOR ROSE. He loved his roses and he love his ROSE. Honored to have known him. He called me Cuz because we shared cousins but were not in the same blood line. Blessings to his family and I will continue to pray for his Rose

Rose Mary, Emily and the whole Grimm family, Gene and I are so sorry, but praising Jesus at the same time. He is no longer suffering. We know Ronnie was ushered into the presence of his God All Mighty, but it is still hard to hear of his passing. He was a great brother in Christ and manager at Monroe Muffler. We will always remember the stories and words of encouragement when we saw him at church and at the store. He was ONE-OF-A-KIND gentle man. You are in our thoughts and prayers, Jill and Gene Tucker
