Ronald A. “Ron“ Boilegh, 62, of Wintersville, OH died Friday, August 5, 2005 at Palliative Care. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio on October 19, 1942, a son of Dorothy Jane Hodgekiss Boilegh of Steubenville, OH and the late William Boilegh. Ron retired as resident manager of Williamstown Associates and was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a 1960 graduate of Wintersville High School, an avid line-dancer, camper and bowler. Ron held membership with the Billy-Bob and the Chickpea Line-Dancers and the River City Line-Dancers. In addition to his mother Ron is survived by his wife Mary A. Maul Boilegh; daughter Connie L. Taylor of Wintersville, OH; three grandchildren James, Zach and Caitlin; two brothers William R. (Linda) Boilegh of Toronto, OH and Robert J. (Sandra) Boilegh of Wintersville, OH; one sister Dorothy Louise “Dottie” (David) Dent of Steubenville, OH; and several nephews and nieces. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy without mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Monday at 9:30 a.m. with Msgr. Gerald Calovini officiating. Burial at Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Valley Hospice or The Salvation Army.
