Roger Lee Dent, 77, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver, PA. He was born on February 20, 1946 in Mingo Junction, OH, the son of the late Paul D. Wine and the late Genevieve (Norman) Perkins Wine Dent. He was a machinist and mechanic by trade, and a lover of classic cars and country music.

Roger is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joni Bates Dent, two daughters, Lynnette Dent and Terri Osburn, two sons Chaz (Jerry) Dent and Cody (Carla) Dent, and two grandchildren, Isabelle Osburn and Parker Lee Dent. He is also survived by his stepmother Mabel Wine, eight brothers, four sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Ray Dent and Terry Wine and sister Tamara Wine.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, OH on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 4 to 6pm. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
