Robert W. “Bob” Nolf 71 of Steubenville, Ohio died Thursday, April 22, 2004 at his residence of natural causes. He was born in Alliance, Ohio on August 20, 1932 the son of the late William Nolf and the late Norine Meyers Nolf VanFossen. Bob was a retired cost accountant and internal auditor for Weirton Steel Co. and his memberships included Wintersville U.M. Church, Masonic Lodge 45 F&AM, Weirton Steel 25 Year Club, Scottish Rite Valley of Steubenville, Aladdin Shrine and Steubenville Shrine Club. He served in US Air Force. Bob was preceded in death by his stepfather Ralph VanFossen. Surviving are his wife Linda R. Risher Nolf; son Bruce Nolf and his wife Julie of Columbus, Ohio and their children Lauren and William Nolf; daughter Deborah Oldfield of Tampa, Florida and her daughter Angela; and daughter Karla and her husband Kevin Dolan of Bethesda, Maryland and their children Kourtney and Keegan Dolan. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road on Sunday noon - 3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. On Monday, friends may call at Wintersville U.M. Church from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.
