Robert W. Coulter, 81, of Wintersville, Ohio died Saturday, December 23, 2006 at his home. He was born November 28, 1925 in Wintersville, OH a son of the late John G. and Mary Monigold Coulter. Robert was an avid Steubenville Big Red fan and a purple heart recipient as a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his daughter Mary Elizabeth Coulter; two brothers Richard and John Coulter, Jr.; and two brothers-in-law Clyde Whitmore and Clarence Fithen. Surviving are his wife Mary J. Yenchochic Coulter; three children Sharon (Jim) Brady of Columbus, OH, Robert (Shirley) Coulter of Toronto, OH and Barbara (Robert) Salomone of Wintersville, OH; four grandchildren Lori (Jeff) Taylor, Michael (Colleen) Brady, Robert Salomone and Lydia Salomone all of Columbus, OH; two great grandchildren Brionna Mann and Jake Brady both of Columbus, OH; brother Donald (June) Coulter of Follansbee, WV; and five sisters Marylou Whitmore of Louisville, OH, Margaret Fithen of Wintersville, OH, Naomi (Steve) Modranski of Amsterdam, OH, Shirley (Ron) Boyd of Wintersville, OH and Pat Bozich of Wintersville, OH. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Stephen Modranski officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery where Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad will perform military honors.
