Robert Joseph Prolago, 88, of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022.
He was born on April 17, 1933, in Steubenville, Ohio, son of the late Frank A. and Mary N. (Romano) Prolago, Sr.
Robert worked at International Mill Service. He was owner of Prolago's Carry-Out Store on 7th Street in Steubenville. Robert was also owner of Prolago & Son General Hauling. He retired from Job and Family Services where he worked for many years in the building and grounds department. Robert had a strong work ethic. He worked hard his entire life. Robert's family was most important to him.
Robert was preceded in death by his five (5) brothers Louis, Frank Jr., Paul, William and Ray Prolago and his five (5) sisters Isabelle Bengier, Virginia Smogonovich, Madalyn Frascketti, Jeanette Bracciale, Anna Stirpe and four infant siblings. Surviving are his wife Penny (Stupelli) Prolago, his son Robert Shaun Prolago, his daughter Lisa Anne (Bobby) Carmichael, and two (2) sisters Helen Sciaretti and Mary (Bun Bun) Reeves.
A private service was held at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville, Ohio with Robert's immediate family members. He was buried at the Union Cemetery in Steubenville.
