Recently, I only saw Bobby when I returned to Steubenville for A Big Red game. He was very close to my mother & father while they lived in Steubenville & visited them in Phoenix after my father retired from Weirton Steel. I have very fond & vivid memories of my father, Bobby & I going into the woods to cut down Christmas trees for several Christmases in my youth. My family sends its condolences to his and will keep you all in our prayers. len & mona barnes

My playmate, my friend, my cousin (brother). Our families lived together off and on during our childhood. He and I played together every day......army, cowboys & indians. and marbles. I can see us in the dirt now. I have not seen him in recent years....I live in California...but he is in my heart forever. I know my grandmother Bessie and my mom Gladys will be glad to see him as well as his mom, dad and brother. May he rest in Peace. Love, Toe Jo (his name for me)

Dearest Jeanette, it is with heavy heart that I write these words to you. I am so very sorry to know of Bob's passing. He was such a really good man and these last few years that he was able to spend with you were, no doubt, the happiest years of his life. You were a blessing to him. Now, he marches on to a new life in heaven with our Lord and with Mom, Dad and Denny. They will all take good care of him! Please let me know what I can do for you. Much love, Brenda.
