Robert Earl Bowers, 76, of Wintersville, Ohio died Sunday, January 8, 2006 at Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit. He was born on February 20, 1929 in Follansbee, WV a son of the late Earl and Mabel Westwood Bowers. He retired as the office manager of Zimnox Coal. He was an avid golfer and was a member of Spring Hills Golf Club. Robert is survived by his wife Dorothy Uhlich Bowers; son Craig (Patti) Bowers of Copley, OH; step-daughter Linda (John) McCullough of Wellsville, OH; step-son John (Paula) Dennis of Steubenville; sister Betty (Walt) Hogue of Jackson, OH; and grandson Ethan Robert Bowers. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Tuesday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. with Rev.
