Robert D. “Bob” Hosterman, 87, of Wintersville, Ohio died Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Dixon Health Care. He was born in Richmond, OH, on September 29, 1920 a son of the late Alva Clyde and Marietta Rogers Hosterman. Bob retired from Weirton Steel and was a WW II Army veteran. He was a member of Finley United Methodist Church. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Marion E. Liddick Hosterman; son Randy Hosterman; longtime companion Blanche Settles; two brothers and one sister. Surviving are his children Ronda (Larry) Mattern of Wintersville, OH, Loren (Tami) Hosterman of Wintersville, OH and Lavonne (Edward) Gribben of Stewart, FL; step daughter Twila Rogers of Huntsville, AL; sister Virginia Higgins of Wintersville, OH; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where a service will be held Monday 10 a.m. with Rev. Bill Westling officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.
