Robert C. Tost, 74, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on August 16, 2025, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Born on December 28, 1950, in Steubenville, Ohio, Robert was the son of the late Anne (Diloreto) Tost and Robert Francis Tost.
Robert is survived by his devoted wife, Christine Tost; his children, Brian (Krissy) Tost of Lebanon, OR, Ronnylin (Dustin) Tost Bradley; Michael Tost, both of Tampa, Fl; his siblings, Alene, Becki, Patty, and Nick; and his adored grandchildren, who brought him endless joy.
A proud graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School, Class of 1969, Robert was a Crusader for life and carried that spirit with him alway. He was also a proud employee of wheeling-Pittsburg Steel.
Robert will be remembered as an avid sports fan, with his greatest devotion to Notre Dame Football and the New York Yankees. He was known for his sense of humor, his off-the-cuff comments, and, above all, his deep love for his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held in December 2025.
