Robert C. “Pap Pap” Leach 91 of Steubenville, Ohio died Friday, December 5, 2003 at Trinity West. He was born in Blair County, PA on June 7, 1912 a son of the late Elmer E. and Annie L. Rice Leach. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Steubenville and a retired electrician from Starvaggi Industries and a retired dispatcher from Steel Valley Transit with thirty years service. Pap Pap was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Surviving are his wife Genevieve Dondzila Leach; one son Eugene R. (Connie) Leach of Columbus, Ohio; one daughter Anna (Mark) Kansala of Bloomingdale, Ohio; nine grandchildren Robert (Amy) Leach, Kevin (Lisa) Leach, Tim Leach, David Leach, Alan Leach, Karen (Walter) Gibson, Michele (David) Shannon, Lori Kansala, and Consetta (Tim) Schmidt; and twelve great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Sunday 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at 10 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Bethel Bateson officiating. Burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville.
