Robert B. Nevlis, 81, of Wintersville, Ohio died Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at Palliative Care. He was born in Steubenville on May 31, 1924 to the late Anthony and Ann Shalonis Nevlis. He was a retired meter reader and repairman for Columbia Gas of Ohio. Preceding Robert in death were his son Michael A. Nevlis on July 29, 1993; brother Edward Nevlis; and sister Ruth Ann Nevlis. Surviving are his wife Fern I. Loy Nevlis; sisters Dorothy (Joseph) Castner of Steubenville and Helen (John) Galonia of CA; niece Ann Marie (Kenneth) Smith of CA; great nephew Garret Smith; and two stepdaughters Kathryn C. Donaldson of VA and Joan E. Gooch of St. Louis, Missouri. Burial was held at Mount Calvary Cemetery Memorials may be directed to Valley Hospice, Inc.
