Robert A. “Bobby” Buono, 68, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021. He was born on May 22, 1953 a son of the late Philip & Martha McCombs Buono. Bobby was born with Downs Syndrome and was not expected to live a very long life, but he proved everyone wrong. He was loved by all in his family and brought much happiness and joy to all who knew him. Bobby’s kind and caring soul taught us all the meaning of unconditional love.
Bobby leaves behind his brother Richard (Bonnie) Buono of Bloomingdale; sister Phyllis (late James) Bee with whom he resided; nieces Amanda Buchanan, Jamie (Darin) Heavilin, Janie (Brian) Hibbits; nephew James Bee, Jr.; several great nieces and nephews. Bobby was preceded in death by his niece, Jan Bee.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 6 p.m. with Pastor Mark Prichard officiating. Private burial Friday at Fort Steuben.
