I just wanted to say to the family of Rita that she will be truly missed at our Friday masses with Fr. Francis at Gables. She always offered prayers for her family at those masses. She was a wonderful person to know. My mom has been at Gables for many years.

I am so sorry that I am not with you to celebrate Rita's life. She was a dear friend, one of my closest. I shall miss her. My husband and I were fortunate to share many fun times with her and your father. They were always so kind to us, especially when my daughter Leila, her husband Sami, and my husband were all facing serious health issues. My family will always remember them fondly and cherish our friendship with the McCullough family.

I only knew Rita in her later years when she resided at Gables Care Center and I brought her weekly Communion. She was full of love and joy and truly appreciated the Communion service. I can only imagine what a wonderful mother, grandmother, teacher, principal and friend she must have been. Her smile and warmth will be missed but she is now with her Lord and her loved ones. May that be consolation for those she left behind.
