Obituary For Richard L. Schumaker

Richard L. Schumaker, 65, of Wintersville, Ohio died Saturday, December 07, 2013 at Lancia Villa Royale.  He was born January 11, 1948 in Steubenville, OH a son of the late Julius and Virginia Schumaker. He was Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War and retired from LaBelle News Agency.  Richard was a coach for the Wintersville Softball League for many years.  Preceding Richard in death was his wife Joyce Schumaker on September 26, 2007.  Surviving are three daughters Stacey (Glen) Zink of Wintersville, OH, Lisa Beveridge of Rayland, OH and Heather Schumaker of Wintersville; two grandchildren Chelsea & Nathan and step-brother Robert Schumaker of Pittsburgh, PA.  Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Tuesday 5 – 8 p.m. Burial at Union Cemetery.
