Richard D. Marker, 79, of Steubenville, OH died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at his home.  He was born in Bloomingdale, OH on February 10, 1929 a son of the late Harry L. and Mary Merriam Marker.  He retired as a truck driver from the US Postal Service.  Richard was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.   Surviving are his wife Easter L. Woodland Marker; son Richard E. Marker of Camarillo, CA and sister Jane Betz of Minerva, OH.  Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon with Rev. Dr. John Beard officiating.  Burial at Bloomingdale Cemetery.
