Rebecca L. “Becky” Saunders, 55, of Steubenville, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Trinity West. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio on October 6, 1955. She was preceded in death by her father Alvin P. Hale. Surviving are her husband David Saunders; nine children John, Sean, Alvin, Michelle and Matthew Hale, Crystal Sortor, Clint Starkey and David and Ashley Saunders; mother Wilda Peters Hale; seventeen grandchildren; four brothers Joe (Jean) Hale, Alvin (Connie) Hale, John (Kathy) Hale and Tommy Hale and two sisters Sue (Randy) Albridge and Sharon (Andy) Sims. Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home (formerly McClave Funeral Home), 611 North 4th St., Steubenville on Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 5 p.m. with Pastor Tommy Mills officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
