Obituary For Raymond L. "Ray" Mansfield

Raymond L. “Ray” Mansfield, 84, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Valley Hospice. He was born on May 1, 1936 in Steubenville a son of the late Raymond Mansfield & the late Dorothy Rambo Jones. He was retired from Weirton Steel Co. tin mill and served aboard the USS Forrestal (Navy) during the Korean War. Ray was preceded in death by his halfsister Saundra Fellows. Ray enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Willanne “Ann” Elcesser Mansfield, whom he married on August 20, 1957; daughter Deanna (John) Petrella; sons Raymond (Shannon) Mansfield, Mark W. Mansfield & Derek L. Mansfield; three grandsons; and two great grandchildren.

Per Ray’s request, services are private.
