Raymond C. Kaufmann, 66, of Wintersville, Ohio died Wednesday, May 2, 2007 in the Trinity West ER. He was born in Steubenville on June 13, 1940 a son of the late Chester A. and Margaret Mark Kaufmann. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and the Dip n Dive Square Dance Club. A graduate of Steubenville High School, Ray was a retired trucking terminal manager. Preceding Ray in death was his brother William K. Kaufmann. Surviving are his wife Doris J. Cottrill Kaufmann, whom he married on October 21, 1961; two sons Michael (Linda) Kaufmann of Westerville and Jeff (June) Kaufmann of Medina; six grandchildren Bret, Trent, Trevor, Krista, Kasey & Nikki; sister Nancy Kaufmann of Steubenville and sister-in-law Barbara Kaufmann of Mingo Junction. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Friday 1-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 1 p.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Church with Rev. Thomas Hamm officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. Vigil service 1:30 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22038.
